It was a long process, seven hours in total, until the whole thing was out. He then wanted to place another titanium implant, but I didn’t like that. I said: “If both have become inflamed, we can’t do exactly the same thing again.” I then did some research, searched around and asked if he could do ceramics. I asked other dentists in Zurich about ceramics. Nobody offered them, and so I came across the Swiss Biohealth Clinic. I came here with the intention of having another implant removed and two ceramic implants placed. I was extremely impressed by how extensive the preliminary examination was. X-rays of course, detailed photos from every angle, blood tests. And Dr. Kneer took a tremendous amount of time to thoroughly examine my mouth and then went through every single tooth with me and told me what was good and what was not good.
In addition to the two implants that were inflamed, my wisdom teeth were also much too close to the bone in the back and inflammation was forming. Even though the teeth themselves were still fine, there was a permanent area of inflammation. And I had two crowns, under which there was also some inflammation. So I came here with the intention of getting two implants. It was then suggested that a total of six teeth should be removed. I thought about it briefly, and also considered it back home. But once I had heard and realized that there was a permanent area of inflammation in my body, I was overjoyed to get a surgery appointment quickly. Of course, I went into the operation room with mixed feelings. On the one hand, I was happy that it was finally going to be done. On the other, I was also a bit anxious about the extensive procedure. But my concerns were entirely unfounded. It was extremely relaxed, even during the preliminary examination, where of course blood values and vitamin D content and so on were determined, and I received accompanying supplementation. I already take a lot of supplements myself, but to prepare for the operation, I was given additional vitamins and nutrients here.
And then the operation itself was really—as far it is possible to say such a thing—very relaxed. I never felt any pain during the entire procedure, or even afterwards. Dr. Kneer proceeded with utmost care—one tooth at a time—always explaining exactly what he was doing. My wife was allowed to watch, she wanted to see it for herself. She confirmed afterwards that when the implant was removed, yellow and green pus came out, and the gums were also completely inflamed under the removed crowns. The entire operation took seven hours. That was six teeth – on the previous occasion it had taken seven hours to remove just one. There simply was no comparison! Now is the second day after the surgery. No pain yesterday either. No swelling at all. Everything went extremely well. How I feel? I feel extremely well looked after here. The team knows exactly what they’re doing. They give you the support you need. The treatments are great. It’s so much more than just a dentist’s practice. In essence, what you get is a course of wellness treatment. Sure, I had dental surgery, but I don’t even think about it anymore. My entire body benefited in a holistic manner.
You recover, you feel fresh. Of course, I’m still tired from the operation and my body is working extremely hard, but I feel really good. And the accompanying treatments, whether the lymphatic drainage, the craniosacral therapy, the cold chamber or the cold mask at night, it’s all really great and extremely helpful. Yes, that’s it so far. Perfect.
So everything is really very pleasant. The care here is outstanding. You feel a bit like you’re in first class on a Swiss flight. You realize that everyone is looking after you and whenever you need something, you get it. That’s very nice.
